Ideal for daily use, it also protects the skin from external aggressions such as pollution. Its soothing and nourishing properties help the skin recover its firmness, softness and elasticity.
The benefits of vitamin B12
Vitamin B12 applied through the skin remedies one of the most evident signs of skin ageing and, as such, offers a new solution for both preventing and reversing the effects of skin ageing.
It significantly reduces the appearance of wrinkles and skin folds, hydrates and significantly improves the skin’s elasticity.
Properties
The choice of sun protection to be applied depends on various criteria:
– Phototype: The lighter the skin, the higher the level of protection. Darker, matte skin is less vulnerable to UV rays and can do without maximum protection.
– The season: Even in winter, the application of a sun cream is necessary because UV rays pass through clouds: a cloudy veil lets 90% or more of UV rays through. On the other hand, you can afford to use medium or low protection.
– Time of day: As the sun’s power varies according to the time of day, it is possible to alternate SPF levels throughout the day. In the morning and late evening, it is possible to use medium protection if you are outdoors. On the other hand, between 10am and around 4pm, you should use higher SPFs, especially in summer when UVB rays are strongest.
– Geographical area: People living in tropical areas, where the sun shines brightly all year round and for most of the day, need to protect themselves from the sun properly. In addition to SPF 50 or higher, it is best to reduce sun exposure.
The SPF (sunburn protection factor) is the index that represents the degree of protection of a sunscreen product.
The higher the SPF of a sunscreen, the greater the photoprotection action.
Each of these indications represents the level of protection/efficiency of a sunscreen product against UVB-induced sunburn.
It is not the letters but the numbers that precede them that are of interest.
There are four SPF levels:
– From 6 to 10 for low protection: it allows sun protection in situations of low sunlight.
-From 15 to 25 for medium protection: suitable for naturally dark, already tanned or light but easily tanned skin.
– From 30 to 50 for high protection: ideal for fair skin that sunburns quickly but tans lightly.
– From 50 and over for very high protection: for all ultra-sensitive skin that sunburns quickly, does not tan and needs very effective protection.
SUN PROTECTION DAY CREAM SPF 30
The last step in your skin care routine:
– Premature ageing, skin cancer, skin reactions… The sun can be dangerous for the skin.
– That’s why it’s important to keep all UV rays out. Therefore, the use of a sun cream is essential.
– A day cream with SPF 30 should always be the last step in your morning skin care routine.
– Apply a generous amount after cleanser, lotion and exfoliator (and possibly serum, booster or treatment), but before make-up.
– This way, your skin will be protected from UV rays all day. Are you planning to go to the gym or swimming pool? Then remember to reapply after exercise.

Main active ingredients
Vitamin B12
Vitamin B12, also known as cobalamin, is a water-soluble vitamin that plays an important role in the haematological and nervous systems, and has a complex relationship with the skin. Altered levels of cobalamin can lead to dermatological manifestations, which may indicate a deficiency of this vitamin.
A retrospective, prospective study of 63 individuals with vitamin B12 deficiency showed that 41% had skin and mucosal changes, with glossitis in 31%, hyperpigmentation in 19%, hair changes in 9%, angular stomatitis in 8% and vitiligo in 3%. Vitamin B12 plays an important role in the skin and various skin findings are associated with cobalamin deficiency.
Properties and benefits:
– Topical cobalamin has been shown to be a safe treatment for atopic dermatitis.
– Vitamin B12 helps regulate pigment production in the skin, helping to prevent dark spots and pigmentation (see photo). It increases and detoxifies the metabolism while firming the skin.
Vitamin B12 improves the quality of the skin, especially the complexion. This vitamin is also a powerful antioxidant that makes the skin less oily and controls the appearance of dandruff.
Provitamin B5 - Panthenol
Panthenol is used in cosmetics as a humectant, moisturiser and emollient. It is used in the formulation of repair creams (face and body), after-sun care products, shampoos and conditioners, and lotions for sensitive scalps.
Generally well tolerated (cases of irritation and contact allergies are rare), it is one of the most widely used active ingredients in cosmetology.
Properties and benefits of provitamin B5 Panthenol:
Particularly well tolerated by the skin, ideal for baby care
Anti-inflammatory, regenerating and healing properties, suitable for nappy care
Binds moisture, strengthens the hydrolipidic film, improves the elasticity of the skin, promotes cell renewal, reduces itchy skin and is ideal as an after-sun care product.
Soothing: Pro-vitamin B5 is a key active ingredient in soothing weakened, irritated and itchy skin. Thanks to its anti-inflammatory properties, it quickly calms feelings of discomfort and redness.
Regenerating and repairing Stimulates the proliferation of fibroblasts, the connective tissue that forms the skin’s support mattress, and plays an essential role in the skin’s repair process.
Ethylhexylglycerin
Ethylhexylglycerine belongs to the category of alkylglycerol ethers. It is in fact glycerine attached to an alkyl (in this case ethylhexyl) with an ether bond.
Properties and benefits of ethylhexylglycerine:
It is a versatile and multifunctional additive in the cosmetic industry.
It can act as an emollient or conditioning and moisturising agent (see photo) for the skin because it has alkyl groups attached, and these alkyl groups can form a structure on the surface of the skin that is impermeable and does not allow moisture to evaporate.
In addition, ethylhexyl ether is deadly to bacteria, this property is particularly useful when preserving any product, which enhances the effect of other antimicrobials and stabilisers in combination with other cosmetic ingredients.
Another use of this property is that it reduces the growth and multiplication of odour-causing bacteria. This is why it is used in deodorants. Ethylhexylglycerine and other alkylglycerol ether ingredients can be used in eye make-up, hand and body products, bath products, hair care, cleaning products, deodorants, foundations and sun protection products.
Niacinemide Vitamin B3
Niacinamide is a water-soluble vitamin of the B group, consisting of nicotinic acid (niacin) and its amide, nicotinamide. Vitamins in general are antioxidant and therefore anti-ageing and anti-inflammatory, but this one is particularly versatile.
PROPERTIES AND BENEFITS:
-> Anti-inflammatory: niacinamide has been identified as an effective treatment for various inflammatory skin conditions.
-> Reduces pores: by improving the elasticity and texture of the skin and limiting the production of sebum (responsible for clogged pores, amongst other things), vitamin B3 reduces the size of enlarged pores.
-> Anti-redness: by decreasing ignition, the active ingredient has an impact on reducing redness linked, in particular, to acne or eczema.
-> Anti-wrinkle: by stimulating the production and quality of collagen in the dermis, it improves the firmness and consistency of the skin, which shows fewer signs of ageing.
-> Anti-oxidant: protects the skin from oxidative stress caused by toxins and external agents.
-> Anti-spots: the application of nicotinamide-based care is effective in lightening pigmentation spots, results linked to the increase in collagen production induced by the active.

Titanium dioxide
Titanium dioxide is a compound which is a mixture of oxygen and titanium that can be found in nature in various forms and can also be produced industrially. It is used in food products (as a colorant), paints (as a pigment/colorant) and cosmetics.
In particular, it can be used to enhance and improve colors and formulas in a variety of ways:
Color: By adding TiO₂ in pigmented form to other colors, it is possible to increase the intensity and brightness of make-up products. Its use also allows manufacturers to create many different shades of lipsticks and foundations to meet the needs of all skin types.
Luminosity: it helps the skin absorb oils and gives it opacity that reduces shine.
UV protection: in its non-pigmented form, TiO₂ absorbs and disperses UVA and UVB rays, helping to fight sunburn and premature aging.
Texture: non-pigmented TiO₂ particles are transparent, allowing for the development of formulas that are much smoother, translucent and easy to spread. Its opacity also plays a key role in formulas designed to camouflage imperfections.
Fastness: as a non-soluble mineral, TiO₂ in an unpigmented form is sought after for its fastness and water resistance properties, which are especially important for sunscreen products.
