The benefits of vitamin B12
Vitamin B12 applied through the skin remedies one of the most evident signs of skin ageing and, as such, offers a new solution for both preventing and reversing the effects of skin ageing.
It significantly reduces the appearance of wrinkles and skin folds, hydrates and significantly improves the skin’s elasticity.
Properties
The carefully selected raw materials are innovative and of proven effectiveness. The formulations meet the requirements of international cosmetic laws and guidelines. The finished products are tested and permanently controlled by the Swiss Vitamin Institute.
The basic ingredient, which is the common thread in all VITACREME B12 products, is vitamin B12 (cyanocobalamin). Clinical studies have shown that vitamin B12, when applied percutaneously, increases tissue elasticity by promoting the reorganization of the elastin fiber network and the production of thin, regular collagen fibers. This action results in an overall « visible rejuvenation of the skin ».
This balm also contains other valuable active ingredients that enrich the formulation for optimal effectiveness. This cosmetic product can be used on a daily basis, alone or in conjunction with other products in the range.
The area around the eyes is frequently subject to dryness. Indeed, the sebaceous glands, which secrete sebum, are only present in small quantities. Consequently, the eye contour area is regularly confronted with problems that are specific to it, and which tend to increase with age.
Thus, fatigue, anxiety and insomnia favor the appearance of puffiness and dark circles under the eyes, and with age, small wrinkles appear in the eye contour area.
Finally, rhinitis or hay fever, for example, can result in significant irritation of the eyelids.
Like the eye contour area, the lips and lip contours are subject to drying out and the appearance of fine lines. Three main elements are known to weaken the lips. First of all, smoking, which tends to darken them and overstress them. The repeated movements of the mouth around cigarettes encourage the development of wrinkles in the lip contour. The second enemy of the lips is the sun. UV rays dry out the lips, whose skin is poor in melanin, which protects against the sun. Finally, the cold (and wind) is the enemy of the lips.
This is why it is important to take care of your lips and eye contours, which are two sensitive areas of the face.
Effectivity
This balm is an intense care that protects and soothes the fragile and sensitive areas around the lips and eyes. It prevents dehydration and premature aging of the skin. It is the ideal care to find a flexible and satiny skin and naturally smooth and soft lips.
This rich, firming and nourishing treatment effectively combats the signs of time and signs of fatigue.

Main active ingredients
Allantoin
Allantoin is a nitrogenous chemical compound discovered by Louis-Nicolas Vauquelin
Among plants, it is found in the roots of comfrey.
PROPERTIES AND BENEFITS OF ALLANTOIN:
As a cosmetic ingredient, the active cosmetic allantoin is recognized for these properties:
-> Active repairerparexcellence: it regenerates the tissues and helps in the acclimatization.
-> Hydrating: it maintains the cutaneous hydrolipidic film.
-> Calms irritations: anti-inflammatory, it soothes irritations and light wounds (razor burn, depilation, skin attacked by the sun, laser, cracked hands and feet).
-> Emollient and softening.
Butyrospermum parkii butter
Properties and benefits of shea butter:
First, it prevents dehydration and skin dryness, softens the tissues, and preserves the elasticity of the skin. Then, it reinforces the hydrolipidic film of the skin.
Then, the shea butter relieves the atopic skins and with problems: desquamation, eczema, dartres, psoriasis, cutaneous eruptions, allergies…
Then, it is an excellent protection against the external and climatic aggressions. In particular, it protects from the sun, soothes sunburn, and prolongs tanning.
Shea butter has anti-oxidant properties. Thus, it supports the skin to slow down its natural aging process. Also, it activates the synthesis of collagen within the skin and promotes its cellular renewal.
Moreover, its regenerating side gives it an interesting healing and anti-inflammatory power.
During pregnancy, shea butter is an ally of choice to prevent stretch marks. Also, in post-delivery, it heals and helps to recover a firmer skin.
Moreover, it repairs cracks in the breasts due to breastfeeding.
Finally, the application of shea butter soothes damaged skin, such as that of babies with diaper rash.
Ethylhexylglycerin
Ethylhexylglycerin belongs to the category of alkylglyceryl ethers. It is in fact glycerine attached to an alkyl (here Ethylhexyl) with an ether bond.
Properties and benefits of ethylhexylglycerin :
It is a versatile and multifunctional additive in the cosmetic industry.
It can act as an emollient or skin conditioning agent because it has attached alkyl groups, and these alkyl groups can form a structure on the surface of the skin, which is waterproof and does not let moisture evaporate.
In addition, ethylhexyl ether is deadly to bacteria, this property is especially useful in case of preservation of any product, which enhances the effect of other antimicrobial and stabilizer in combination with other cosmetic ingredients.
Another use of this property is that it reduces the growth and multiplication of odor-causing bacteria. And that is why it is used in deodorants. Ethylhexylglycerin and other alkylglyceryl ether ingredients can be used in eye makeup, body and hand products, bath products, hair care, cleaning products, deodorants, foundations and sunscreen products.
Heteroside Centella Asiatica Extract /(Asiaticoside & Madecassoside)
Properties and benefits of Heteroside Centella Asiatica Extract :
An anti-aging action to fight against wrinkles:
With age, collagen production decreases: your skin loses its suppleness and the first wrinkles appear. To boost the production of collagen, Tiger Herb is your best ally.
It acts directly on its production and increases its quality thanks to two active ingredients: saponosides and triterpenes. Result, you find a plumped up skin, the wrinkles and fine lines are smoothed and the complexion is luminous.
Repairing virtues to regenerate the skin:
Able to accelerate the repair of fabrics, the Herb of the Tiger makes the happiness of the damaged skins. It is able to stimulate cellular regeneration to repair old lesions: the scars are attenuated and the skin finds all its resistance. Thanks to its flavonoid content, centella fights against cellulite, eliminating toxins and liquids that accumulate under the skin.
A high content of antioxidants to prevent skin aging
Naturally rich in antioxidants, Centella Asiatica acts on free radicals by reducing their production. These molecules accelerate skin aging and promote the appearance of signs of aging. The wrinkles and the tasks are attenuated and the skin is strenghtened!
Hyaluronic acid
Hyaluronic acid is a glycosaminoglycan, a high molecular weight polysaccharide formed by a linear chain of disaccharide units of glucuronic acid and N-acetylglucosamine.
Properties and benefits of hyaluronic acid:
Hyaluronic acid is an important molecule for the youth and beauty of the skin. It acts as a moisturizing, firming, anti-wrinkle, regenerating and redensifying agent. It is constantly renewed, but with age, the synthesis is slower, less good and less abundant, resulting in a decrease of the natural capital. It is estimated that at age 50, the epidermis contains only 50% of its initial capital. Hence the interest in adding to one’s beauty routine skin care products containing this unstoppable ingredient, regardless of age.
Its main properties :
HYDRATANT/HYGROSCOPIC: retains water in the tissues. Hyaluronic acid can absorb up to 1000 times its weight in water.
FILMOGEN: high molecular weight hyaluronic acid forms a film on the surface of the skin, thus giving the impression of filling in fine lines.
REPULPANT: low molecular weight hyaluronic acid penetrates the epidermis where it absorbs water.
Lactic acid
Lactic acid is a member of the fruit acid family. It is in fact an acid of natural origin, extracted from the sugar contained in certain fruits (AHA). It can be obtained in two ways: either through a sugar fermentation process using Lactobacillus bacteria or it can also be made synthetically.
Properties and benefits of lactic acid :
First of all, it acts as a humectant and pH regulator, allowing to inhibit the growth of other micro-organisms foreign to the skin.
It is an ingredient that also gently exfoliates all dead skin cells, but does not attack sensitive skin because it acts gently. This will reveal a new skin underneath.
Lactic acid also regulates the horny layer of the epidermis, interacting with keratin. This gives it a slight exfoliating effect: the stratum corneum becomes thinner and more supple, ideal in the case of all types of imperfections: whether it is impure skin, acne, psoriasis problems and keratinization disorders.
It stimulates the synthesis of collagen. Collagen, this natural protein, present in our body which ensures the cohesion, the elasticity and the regeneration of our fabrics in order to maintain them firm and tonic.
Lastly, it favors a good hydration of the skin.
Lactose
Lactose is the main sugar (or carbohydrate) naturally present in milk and dairy products. Lactose is made up of glucose and galactose, two simple sugars that are used directly by our bodies as a source of energy. Lactase, an enzyme, splits lactose into glucose and galactose.
Properties and benefits of lactic acid:
This ingredient has several functions, most commonly it is:
Skin care agent: its role is to keep the skin in good condition.
Lactose is used as an excipient in cosmetics to help maintain or restore the hydrolipidic film around the epidermis. This film, slightly acid, protects our body from external aggressions.
Humectant, its role is to maintain moisture in the product throughout its use.
Niacinamide
Niacinamide is a water-soluble vitamin of the B group, it is composed of nicotinic acid (niacin) and its amide, nicotinamide. Vitamins in general are antioxidant and therefore anti-aging and anti-inflammation, but this one is particularly versatile.
Properties and benefits of niacinamide :
Anti-inflammatory: Niacinamide has been identified as an effective treatment for various inflammatory skin conditions.
Reduces pores: By improving the elasticity and texture of the skin and limiting the production of sebum (responsible for pore clogging, among other things), vitamin B3 reduces the size of dilated pores.
Against the rednesses: By decreasing the ignition, the active ingredient has an impact on the reduction of the rednesses related, in particular, to the acne or the eczema.
Anti-wrinkle: By boosting the production and the quality of collagen in the dermis, it improves the firmness and the texture of the skin which marks less the signs of the age.
Anti-oxidant: It protects the skin from oxidative stress caused by toxins and external agents.
Anti-spot: The application of nicotinamide-based care products is effective in lightening pigmentary spots, results linked to the increase in collagen production induced by the active ingredient.
Palmitoyl tripeptide-5
Palmitoyl tripeptide-5 is a synthetic peptide composed of a series of amino acids allowing it to penetrate deep into the epidermis and even into the dermis.
Properties and benefits of Palmitoyl tripeptide-5 :
Palmitoyl tripeptide-5 penetrates deep into the layers of the skin and activates the tissue growth factor also known as TGF-beta.
It is necessary for the synthesis of collagen I&II and fibronectin; it accelerates the process and studies have also shown its ability to communicate with skin cells and prevent toxins from entering the skin. It mimics the body’s natural defense mechanism to remove toxins from the skin.
As the skin ages, the synthesis of collagen production decreases, resulting in the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines on the skin. It also works from within and increases collagen production and reduces the effects of aging.
It preserves the health of the skin by maintaining its elasticity and firmness.
It also retains moisture in the skin.
Panthenol
Panthenol is used in cosmetics as a humectant, moisturizer, emollient. It is used in the formulation of repairing creams (face and body), after-sun care, shampoos and after-shampoos, lotions for sensitive scalps.
Generally well tolerated (cases of irritation and contact allergies are rare), it is one of the most widely used active ingredients in cosmetology.
Properties and benefits of Provitamin B5 Panthenol :
Particularly well tolerated by the skin, ideal for baby care
Anti-inflammatory, regenerating and healing properties, suitable for diaper care
Binds moisture, strengthens the hydrolipidic film, improves skin elasticity, promotes cell renewal, reduces skin itching and ideal as an after-sun care.
Soothing: Provitamin B5 is a key active ingredient to relieve weakened, irritated and itchy skin. Thanks to its anti-inflammatory properties, it quickly calms the feelings of discomfort and redness.
Regenerating and repairing It stimulates the proliferation of fibroblasts, the connective tissue forming the skin’s support mattress, and plays an essential role in the skin repair process.
Prunus armeniaca kernel oil
Properties and benefits of apricot kernel oil:
Firming: this vegetable oil restores elasticity to the skin and helps tone the epidermis.
Nourishing: it reinforces the hydrolipidic film covering the surface of the epidermis, preserving the hydration of the skin. It nourishes the dull and tired skins.
Penetrating: the oil of Apricot Kernel by its composition in fatty acids allows to penetrate deeply the skin. It does not leave a greasy film on the skin unlike other vegetable oils.
Antioxidant: the unsaponifiable matter present in Apricot Kernel oil (carotenoids and vitamin E) has antioxidant properties, delaying skin aging.
Soothing, emollient: the oil of Apricot Kernel is structuring, it ensures a perfect flexibility of the cellular walls of the skin, and thus gives him all its softness.
Protector of the skin: it creates a light protection against the rays of the sun, as long as the exposure remains moderate. Carotenoids increase the skin’s tolerance to the sun. The Apricot Kernel can thus gently prepare the skin for the sun to facilitate tanning and give a healthy glow.
Vitamin B12
Vitamin B12, also known as cobalamin, is a water-soluble vitamin that plays an important role in the hematological and nervous systems, and has a complex relationship with the skin. Altered cobalamin levels can lead to dermatological manifestations, which may indicate a deficiency or excess of this vitamin.
A retrospective and prospective study of 63 individuals with vitamin B12 deficiency showed that 41% had skin and mucosal changes, with glossitis in 31%, hyperpigmentation in 19%, hair changes in 9%, angular stomatitis in 8% and vitiligo in 3%. Vitamin B12 plays an important role for the skin and various skin findings are associated with cobalamin deficiency.

Whey Protein / Whey Peptides
Bioactive milk peptides are found in all milk proteins, whether caseins or the major (β-lactoglobulin, α-lactalbumin) or minor (lactoferrin) fractions of soluble milk proteins. Peptides are the building blocks of protein production in your body. When amino acids bind to each other, they form chains called peptides. Once these peptides are formed, they come together to create proteins.
They have a powerful cellular activity preserving the quality and youthfulness of the epidermis.
Properties and benefits of Whey Protein / Whey Peptides :
Skin maintenance agent, Skin protection agent, Hair conditioner, antioxidant, anti-aging Humectant.
Regenerating: By promoting collagen production, some polymers improve the regeneration of the extracellular matrix.
Moisturizing : Keratin-based peptides by improving skin hydration and elasticity levels promote hair and epidermis repair.
Brightening: Peptides are often used for their depigmenting activity.
Some have the ability to block the synthesis of melanin (responsible for skin pigmentation), they slow down the formation of pigmentation spots and can fade them.
