The skin is gently cleansed, hydrated in depth, and regains its vitality. The presence of corn starch mattifies and unifies the skin tone. Cell regeneration is stimulated to reduce the signs of ageing.
The benefits of vitamin B12
Vitamin B12 applied through the skin remedies one of the most evident signs of skin ageing and, as such, offers a new solution for both preventing and reversing the effects of skin ageing.
It significantly reduces the appearance of wrinkles and skin folds, hydrates and significantly improves the skin’s elasticity.
Properties
The skin, which is the largest organ in the human body, has its own renewal cycle.
Every 21 days, new skin cells replace those that have already served their time. Usually, these dead skin cells fall off on their own, but sometimes they can stick to the epidermis, which, over time, tends to block the natural flow of sebum and turn the complexion gray.
Exfoliating your skin with a specific product will not only encourage this natural process, but also boost cell renewal and enhance the action of the skin care products you use every day.
For facial skin exfoliation to be successful, there is no need to strip the skin! The skin may be damaged and no longer fully perform its role as a protective barrier. It is thus necessary to take care to choose its exfoliating agent well according to its type of skin.
Beautiful, clear skin is skin that is plump, luminous, and has a smooth, even appearance. But the dead cells that accumulate on the surface of the epidermis only suffocate it, dull it, and end up giving the face an unenviable grayish complexion.
Exfoliating the skin of the face will effectively eliminate unwanted scales and accumulated impurities, unclog pores, remove stubborn blackheads and regulate excess sebum, to reveal an even, radiant complexion, and give way to a soft, velvety skin.
This cream was manufactured in Switzerland by Darvidis SA, a company specialized in the design of high quality cosmetic and pharmaceutical products. Main active ingredients
Caprylic/capric triglyceride
Caprylic triglyceride is a compound of glycerin and natural fatty acids from coconut or palm oil. The compound may have some benefits for the skin or products that contain it.
Properties and benefits of caprylic triglyceride:
Emollient: An emollient is an ingredient that softens the skin. Emollients form a protective layer on the skin, locking in moisture to prevent the skin from drying out.
The oily texture of caprylic triglyceride makes it a useful skin softener. (See photo)
Antioxidant: Antioxidants can fight environmental damage to skin cells. The fatty acids in caprylic acid are antioxidants.
Solvent: Caprylic triglyceride is an oily compound that can prevent ingredients from clumping together. Because of this property, it may improve the texture of products containing the compound.
Dispersing agents: Caprylic triglyceride can help evenly distribute product ingredients, such as solid pigments, fragrances or other compounds. This even distribution can create a more consistent texture and stable blend.
Improves the penetration of fat-soluble actives, including essential oils.
Ethylhexylglycerin
Ethylhexylglycerin belongs to the category of alkylglyceryl ethers. It is in fact glycerine attached to an alkyl (here Ethylhexyl) with an ether bond.
Properties and benefits of ethylhexylglycerin :
It is a versatile and multifunctional additive in the cosmetic industry.
It can act as an emollient or conditioning agent and moisturizing agent (see photo) of the skin because it has alkyl groups attached, and these alkyl groups can form a structure on the surface of the skin, which is waterproof and does not let moisture evaporate.
In addition, ethylhexyl ether is deadly to bacteria, this property is especially useful in case of preservation of any product, which enhances the effect of other antimicrobial and stabilizer in combination with other cosmetic ingredients.
Another use of this property is that it reduces the growth and multiplication of odor-causing bacteria. And that is why it is used in deodorants. Ethylhexylglycerin and other alkylglyceryl ether ingredients can be used in eye makeup, body and hand products, bath products, hair care, cleaning products, deodorants, foundations and sunscreen products.
Jojoba esters
Jojoba Ester Properties and Benefits:
Jojoba esters can be used as an emollient in formulas to moisturize and prevent skin dryness because they provide an occlusive layer on the skin.
Another use is for physical exfoliation; jojoba esters can be used as an alternative to plastic beads because they are more environmentally friendly. They are also a better alternative to fruit nut scrubs because the surface is smooth and not jagged, which can cause skin tears, while the small jojoba beads allow for gentle exfoliation and melt.
This gives stability to the cosmetic product and allows for easy application.
Used in creams, lotions, skin care products.
This ingredient has several functions, most often it is :
A soothing agent, its role is to calm discomfort of the skin or scalp. (See photo)
A skin care agent, its role is to maintain the skin in good condition.
An emollient for the skin, its role is to soften and smooth the skin by acting as a lubricant.
A moisturizer, its role is to increase the water content of the skin and keep it soft and smooth.
Vitamin B12
Vitamin B12, also known as cobalamin, is a water-soluble vitamin that plays an important role in the hematological and nervous systems, and has a complex relationship with the skin. Altered cobalamin levels can lead to dermatological manifestations, which may indicate a deficiency or excess of this vitamin.
A retrospective and prospective study of 63 individuals with vitamin B12 deficiency showed that 41% had skin and mucosal changes, with glossitis in 31%, hyperpigmentation in 19%, hair changes in 9%, angular stomatitis in 8% and vitiligo in 3%. Vitamin B12 plays an important role for the skin and various skin findings are associated with cobalamin deficiency.
Properties and Benefits:
– Topical cobalamin has shown promise as a safe treatment for atopic dermatitis.
– Vitamin B12 helps regulate pigment production in the skin, helping to prevent dark spots and pigmentation (see photo). It boosts the metabolism and detoxifies it while firming the skin.
– Vitamin B12 improves the quality of the skin, especially the complexion. This vitamin is also a powerful antioxidant that makes the skin less oily and controls the appearance of dandruff.
